Expansion of management EuroSort bv

The management of EuroSort, based in ’s-Graveland, has undergone a change. Effective January 1, 2025, Rens Gehling has been appointed as Commercial Director, succeeding Edwin van Kempen. Gehling will assume ultimate responsibility for the company’s commercial policy, as well as its marketing and sales efforts. He joins EuroSort from Bowe Intralogistics, where he served as Managing Director.

Gehling’s arrival creates more opportunities for Edwin van Kempen, who will focus on key accounts and long-term strategy for both EuroSort and DistriSort from the Netherlands. Van Kempen will remain Managing Director of DistriSort.

“EuroSort is a company that continuously proves itself with innovative solutions that make a significant contribution to improving the logistical processes of our customers. That entrepreneurial spirit and drive for innovation are what appeal to me most about this company, and I am eager to contribute to it. My strength lies in connecting people, blending technology with sound commercial policies. At EuroSort, I have the freedom to focus fully on these areas,” says Gehling.

In response, Van Kempen states:

“EuroSort has its headquarters in ’s-Graveland, which includes R&D, production, marketing, and sales, as well as branches in Spain and the US. The Spanish branch is responsible for Southern Europe and South America. In these emerging markets, we have established a strong foothold in sectors such as fashion, e-commerce, post & parcel, 3PL, and pharmaceutical logistics. There’s every reason to accelerate our efforts here and to increase our focus on service activities. This is the main reason why I confidently hand over my responsibilities at EuroSort bv to the capable hands of Rens Gehling. We are incredibly pleased to welcome someone of his caliber to our management team.”

Introduction EuroSort

EuroSort helps companies in sectors such as fashion, post, e-commerce, 3PL, books, and pharmaceuticals optimize their distribution and logistics processes with automated sorting systems: “high throughput single-item sorting systems.” These systems can sort up to 40,000 items per hour, depending on the type of sorter and the products.

Founded in Amsterdam in 2001, EuroSort’s sorting systems are now used by companies in over 40 countries worldwide—from successful scale-ups to the distribution centers of major international brands. The company’s headquarters, including in-house production, R&D, sales, and marketing, is located in ’s-Graveland and Geldermalsen (ICT). Additional branches are located in Madrid (Spain) and Baltimore (USA). Over 200 employees work to deliver the best sorting systems.
