Flexible Throughput

Always a solution

Whether your operation sorts 1,000 or 40,000 items per hour , you need to have the peace of mind that the sorting solution in your warehouse can handle both the average daily volume as well as the peak volumes seen around Christmas, or even because of a little thing called COVID19. This solution may even need the flexibility to switch your process from retail to e-comm as your business changes.

As a trusted partner for some of the largest companies in the world, EuroSort knows what is required to help your equipment be flexible and adaptive to your changing throughput. We go beyond selling a piece of machinery and will work together with you to analyze the solution that is best for your business. Depending on your specific type of operation, product mix, and throughput requirements we will custom design the solution that will work best for you and allow your operation the upmost in flexibility.

EuroSort provides the flexibility you need from your unit or shipping sorter through both sorter type and sorter layout. This could include multiple induction areas, dual or quad trays, or even our magic induction box. Take a look below, find your throughput range and find out more about your options in each range.

<1000 items per hour

We are happy to take a look at your operations and see if our Push Bar Sorter could make sense. We have seen many customers starting at this throughput and “growing into” a sorter with increased throughput. At this range however, there could be a better solution from one of our industry partners as well.

1,000 – 4,000 Items per Hour

For operations that have to sort between 1,000-4,000 items per hour our Push Bar sorter or Sweeper Sorter could be the right solution. Depending on your product size and weight, you will find that either one of these solutions will bring significant increases in efficiency to your operation at a very cost-effective price point.

4,000 – 8,000 Items per Hour

If you are processing between 4,000-8,000 items per hour most of our sorters will be able to handle this. At this throughput we will analyze the type of products that you sell, the processes that you have in place, the space available for a sorter, as well as the average order size to determine which solution is right for you. In this range, our sorters also offer the flexibility to scale up in case you suddenly hit your 5 year goals in 2 years.

8,000 – 14,000 items per hour

For medium high to high throughput operations, our Dual Split Tray Sorter and Twin Push Tray Sorter are great choices to handle your entire product range. With the dual/twin tray functionality, you gain the ability to use each tray for either two small products, or one large one, potentially doubling the throughput of our single tray sorters in the same footprint. Our Cross-Tray Sorter could also be an option if it makes sense for your operation to induct onto the sorter from two seperate areas, doubling the throughput of our single tray.

14,000 to 20,000 items per hour AND BEYOND

Our Dual Split Tray Sorter and Quad Tilt Tray Sorter are great choices for those high throughput operations that push past the boundaries of other equipment. Our Dual Split Tray is often used for operations processing between 28-32,000 items/hour, and our Quad Tilt Tray Sorter can easily sort up to 40,000 items per hour. Due to its unique, independently controlled multi trays, the Quad Tilt is able to handle large amounts of small products and is often used in the Pharmaceutical or Jewelry industries.
